Lyceum NorthWestern University was founded on 1969. It was intially started as nursing school containing only single room at the Dagupan city, Philipines. In 1974, it was merged with Northern Educational Institution and later emerged with name Lyceum NorthWestern. The first medical school of the north was established in 1975 by Northwestern medical university.

Lyceum North Western University is situated at the Dagupan City which is about 200 kilometers towards north side of Manila.
