Amission Procedure for Indian students
International / Indian Students after completing 10+2 grade with minimum 50% marks in science subjects are eligible for B.S course followed by M.D course in Philippines.
Documents for Admission :
- Transcript of Records duly authenticated by Philippines Embassy.
- Notarized Affidavit of Support and proof of adequate financial support.
- Authenticated copy of Birth Certificate.
- Original Copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for Admission
Documents for Visa:
- Duly notarized letter request from applicant.
- Visa Application Form
- Original Copy of Notice of Acceptance ( NOA ) from university.
- Copy of Passport.
- Original copy of medical certificate
Admission Procedure:
Students should first get admission from Lyceum medical university by submitting complete transcript of record, passport size recent photos, birth certificate along with +2 Mark sheets with minimum 50% marks in science subjects. After getting admission letter from the lyceum medical college, you can apply for student visa submitting the necessary documents. After paying first year tuition directly to Lyceum Northwestern University Medical College, students admission is confirmed.
B.S Bridge Course
Indian Students who pass out 12th standard are enrolled for BS course which runs for about three semesters or 14 months. After this, students should appear for NMAT test. After obtaining minimum 40% marks, they can enroll for MD course. The BS course is basically a degree course mandatory for getting admission to MD course.
M.D Course
After obtaining minimum 40% marks in NMAT, students can enroll for MD course. MD Course is 4 years which includes clinical rotation at any Philippines Medical Center. After clinical rotation, MD degree is awarded.
Course Completion Procedure
After course completion, the certificates have to be verified by CHED, Philippines followed by Indian Embassy for attestation.This is done by submitting your certificates to state Medical Council of India for re-verification. After this procedure, Indian students who completed their M.D degree in Philippines should clear Screening Test in India which is conducted twice a year. Upon clearing this screening test, students can start practice in India or go for higher education.

History
Lyceum-Northwestern University was founded by Dr. Francisco Quimson Duque and Mrs. Florencia Tiongson Duque on 1969. L-NU started as a single-room nursing school at the Dagupan City Polyclinic Hospital and was then called the Dagupan City School of Nursing. In 1972, Dagupan City School of Nursing moved to Tapuac District and changed name to Lyceum of Dagupan City. During this year new courses such as Pre-Nursing, Medical Secretarial Science, Radiologic Technology and Medical Technology were added.
In 1974, it acquired Northern Educational Institution and after the merger it is renamed as Lyceum Northwestern (LN) university. In the same year, Lyceum founded the Northern Philippines Institute of Medicine which is the first medical college of the northern philippines.
Recognition and Awards
L-NU is accredited by International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001:2008) for its Research and Development and its Academic Programs supervised by CHED and TESDA. L-NU is the only research institution accredited by ISO L-NU was granted its renewal of Deregulated Status by the Commission on Higher Education. L-NU College sends many of its students to the United States of America for their On job Training.
